Our classes are 90 minutes long, but we have only 18 weeks of class time to get through a years worth of curriculm. That means each 90 min period is really two 45 minute classes. This year we will be on an A/B schedule meaning you will have Social Studies one day and Science the next. This gives you two nights to get homework done, but you will have to be organized to keep things straight.
What you should have with you everyday; pencils, colored pencils, loose leaf paper in a 3 binder with dividers, textbook.
Social Studies Binder = 1 to 2 inch 3 ring binder with dividers
5 sections = Classwork, Homework, Notes, Maps, Study
Some work will only stay in the Homework section until the next day when it may be relocated into another section.
